- Mark grew up in a musical family, studying piano at an early age and later studying
theory and composition at the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. Upon graduation from
Dyersburg High School, he attended Memphis State and became involved with area projects,
playing and touring with musicians from STAX and other record labels. He has taught
keyboards as well as being a performer and session player.
