Return Policy
| Returns: |
Most new items purchased here are returnable for a full refund within 30 days of original
purchase, provided the customer has a receipt showing the original purchase, all material
is returned in its original condition (including all user materials and full packaging), and
merchandise is not of a personal nature (such as harmonicas, some audio products, etc).
Opened software/CDs, sheet music, some audio products, personal instruments (such as
harmonicas, penny whistles, reeds, etc), special orders & used gear cannot be returned.

| Limits: |
Returns made beyond 30 calendar days are subject to approval of YMI management.
A 20% non-refundable restock fee is customary. All accounts must be paid in full before
any return can be authorized. Refunding will occur in the manner of the original
payment only to the original customer, and only after funds have cleared the bank in full
(usually 10 days after the original purchase). Any cash transactions exceeding $50 will
be refunded by check, mailed to the original customer at the address on file.

| Layaways: |
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required up front, as a layaway requires a certain
amount of “down payment” to reserve an item. Layaways must be completed in 60 days
from the original date of layaway. There is no specific payment schedule, though any
layaways not paid in full in 60 calendar days will forfeit 20% deposit and merchandise
will remain property of YMI. By initiating a layaway, you are agreeing to these terms.
Should you need terms beyond 60 days, we may have other options – ask YMI staff.

| Services: |
All charges for services rendered are final, and not refundable without specific Service
Department Manager approval. Approval will normally only be given for gross YMI
negligence, and the remuneration will be subject to the customer's account being paid in
fully collected funds and the customer being in accordance with all written service
agreements. The refund will be dispensed according to policy outlined under Returns.

| Rentals: |
Returns or refunds will only be at the Service Department Manager's discretion. Only
customers that have fully paid in collected funds and have properly returned gear in the
same condition as it was rented as outlined in a rental contract will be reimbursed. All
applicable policies apply (including the manner of funds dispensation above). Any
refunds will be limited to the rental amount of the rental item in question.

| Special Orders: |
Ordering of items not normally stocked requires a non-refundable 50% deposit first.

| Trades: |
All trades are final - not eligible for return. No consignments. See Trade Purchase Form.

| Other Laws: |
Any local, state, or federal laws in effect at the time of purchase that conflict with the
policy above will take precedence, but only to the extent necessary to fulfill the law.
All other portions of the policy remain in effect, & may changed by YMI occasionally.
